The year 2026 is a special one for FARE, spol. s r. o.

It has been 35 years since the first FARE shoes were made in Valašské Klobouky – shoes that are now wear by children and adults not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also in Spain, Austria, and other countries across Europe.

To mark this anniversary, we decided to invite our business partners who sell FARE shoes in their stores to visit us in Valašské Klobouky. We wanted to give them an insight into the environment in which our shoes are made, show them the production and facilities of the company, and share the story of the brand right where we have been making shoes for children and adults for 35 years.

The meeting included a tour of the production facility, during which our partners had the opportunity to see the entire process and how FARE shoes are made, from the first step to the finished pair.

The program offered not only a tour of the production facility, but also the sharing of experiences, inspiration, and trends in the field of children's and adult footwear.

A look back at the beginnings and a look ahead.

The owner of the company, Mr. Alois Šůstek, spoke about the history of the brand, its beginnings, and the path FARE has taken over the past 35 years. He explained how the original production gradually developed into a brand that today stands for quality, honest craftsmanship, and customer trust.

She was followed by Ms. Jana Šůstková, who presented the process of developing new designs and models to the participants – from the initial designs to the final form of the shoes that reach store shelves.

The business and marketing perspective was complemented by Marketing Director Mr. Maňásek, who summarized the brand's current direction, communication with customers and partners, and presented news and plans that partners and customers can look forward to in the coming period.

An expert's view on foot health.

The program also included a lecture by Edita Prošková, a podiatry specialist and barefoot footwear enthusiast. In her presentation, she focused on the healthy development of children's and adults' feet, the importance of properly chosen footwear and natural movement, which is closely related to the values and philosophy of the FARE brand.

The importance of FARE for the city and region.

The meeting was also attended by the mayor of Valašské Klobouky, Mr. Josef Bělaška, and the deputy mayor, Mr. Jaroslav Baloušek, who greeted those present and briefly introduced the guests to the city of Valašské Klobouky and the local region. In their speeches, they also mentioned the long-standing connection between the FARE brand and the town and the importance of local shoe production not only for the town but also for the entire region.

For us, this event was not only a reminder of the past, but above all a meeting of people who share the same values – an emphasis on quality, honest work, and long-term cooperation.
