FARE FIRST first walking shoes are designed for babies, toddlers and early walkers in EU sizes 19–23. Choose according to foot shape, walking stage, surface and season—not by age or size number alone. The shoe should leave room for the toes while staying secure at the heel and instep.

First walking shoes and baby shoes
Children do not need shoes simply because they have started pulling themselves up. Indoors on a safe surface, barefoot movement is usually the most natural option. Shoes become useful when an independently walking child needs protection from cold, rough ground or outdoor conditions.
FARE FIRST first walking shoes in EU sizes 19–23 are made for the first independent steps indoors and outdoors. The range includes lightweight textile shoes, leather shoes, sandals and winter models for different surfaces and seasons.
Measure both feet while the child is standing. Compare length and width with the internal measurements of the specific model. There should be useful growing room in front of the toes, but the shoe must not slide at the heel or force the child to grip with curled toes.
FARE FIRST follows barefoot principles such as a flexible sole, low weight, a flat construction and generous toe space. Barefoot features are not a universal guarantee of fit: the shape must still match the child’s foot and the fastening must hold securely.
Toddlers’ feet can grow quickly and in sudden stages. Check the fit regularly and whenever shoes become harder to put on, the child’s gait changes or pressure marks appear.
